Yesterday I drove by a little patch of little Snowdrops blooming. That sent me to the Discovery Garden in hopes to find them blooming there too. Not quite yet, but I am on watch now. I love this time of year when hints of Spring start peeking out from the ground to give a hint of things to come for those who take the time to really look. This Euphorbia looks spent unless you look closer and see the shoots starting to push their way up through last years growth.

After 6 days of snow and ice, the tempurature finally climbed above freezing and the roads turned to a little safer slush. So I headed out to see if there were any snowy photo ops still available in the fields. Was able to take this shot, but couldn't do much exploring as a power line was down over the road and they were blocking off almost all of my paths home.

Still a lot of snow on the ground today, but it is supposed to warm up tomorrow so we took Holden for one last romp in the snow at the park. The trees were full of these pretty Cedar Wax Wings enjoying the last of the berries.

This has been a very mild winter and we finally got our first snow today. We were anxious to see what Holden would think about snow. He loved it. We took him to the park and he romped and played until he dropped. A little snow every year is fun. Hoping though that it is only a little snow.

My photo challenge today was to take a picture of heat. I decided to take a photo of some peppers. I used the habaneros for that challenge, but I actually liked the shot of these not so hot peppers better.
